1:00 p.m.: Start of Silent Auction for works by Rebecca Brantley, Katie Sehr, Angel Di Zhang and others.
2:00 p.m.: Meet ice-sculpture artist Zamila Karimi, and view her Encounters piece on the ATHICA porch.
Sunday March 4th
1:00 p.m.:

- Start of sale of $5.00 Raffle tickets for Hands on Experiences

The most philosophical of ATHICA’s exhibits to date, the diverse perspectives of these sixteen US artists inspires contemplation of thisuniversal issue. As the 500 BC philosopher Heraclitus noted, “Everything flows, nothing stands still.”
The site-specific installation work of Young Kim forms the centerpiece of the exhibition. Kim is a widely exhibited artist and professor at West Virginia University. His impermanent portraits, beds of salt and clay on the floor, are vulnerable to the “slightest touch or breath of air.” The fragility of the work exemplifies the abruptness of life’s changes.
