 Would you like to use our lovely space for an art exhibit or a student Exit show, photo or film shoot, a company get-together, or a personal party?
You can do that and help the non-profit arts in As a 'Thank You' for a donation, you will have access to our space for a night, a week or more! (The donation levels are on a sliding scale, and are determined on a case by case basis.) Our 2,200 sq. foot space is handicap accesible. -We have two bathrooms, one with a steel sink and counter for party clean-ups. Please see the About ATHICA/Our Space page for pictures. Your event can occur during a show run, or when the space is empty between exhibits, depending on your needs. (We are empty most often during UGA breaks, late July and August and over the winter holidays.)The occupancy limit is 87. Some other limitations to consider are that: -we cannot host events with loud amplified music, such as a full-on band. A DJ at reasonable levels, voice piano or guitar accompanied by voice or acoustic non-amplified live music is A-OK. -there are irregularly timed and loud trains passing by. -there are doors to an adjacent dance and tae kwon doe studios that open into the main space and those tenants share our bathrooms. They will be discreet during an event such as a wedding, but they may well be present.
